Preheat oven broiler.
Bring salted water to boil for pasta.
Preheat skillet, then add oil.
Add onion and sauté until translucent.
Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, being careful not to burn.
Add all of the meat, at once, to the skillet. Use the Mix-N-Chop tool to break up the meat while browning.
Once meat is brown, add approximately 3 cups of the tomato sauce. Reserve the remainder in case it is needed.
Add the Italian seasoning, stirring to combine.
Cover skillet with the splatter screen and simmer for 15 minutes.
Break up each lasagna noodles into 4-5 pieces. These DO NOT have to be even. This is a rustic dish.
While the sauce is simmering, cook and drain the lasagna noodles.
Add the lasagna noodles gradually, gently folding the pasta into the sauce.
Garnish with fresh mozz and homemade ricotta.
Place skillet under the broiler until the cheese has slightly melted.
Serve and Enjoy!
