Equipment

  • 1 Dutch Oven – or medium heavy bottomed stock pot

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Neutral Oil  – I prefer Clarified Butter or Avocado Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Corn Starch
  • 2 each Chicken Breasts (cooked and cubed) – or dark meat if you prefer
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth – homemade chicken stock is better
  • 5 each Green Onions – with tops, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 4 Stalks Celery – sliced
  • 1 8 oz can Water Chestnuts – drained and sliced
  • 3 medium Carrots – thinly sliced
  • 4 cups Cabbage – thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Sliced Almonds

Instructions
 

  • Heat Dutch over over medium-high heat.
  • Add oil and heat.
  • Add chicken, green onions, celery, carrots and cabbage. Cook on medium high 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Dissolve cornstarch in broth and add to chicken and vegetables.
  • Add soy sauce and stir.
  • Add water chestnuts and sliced almonds and heat through.
